William Ralph Carrier, 89, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord at 1:41 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was retired from Earle C. Clements Job Corps.  Most important to him was his family especially his three great-granddaughters whom he adored.  He was also a Korean War U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Charlene Burdge Carrier, who died December 30, 2017; one son, Robby J. Carrier, who died December 10, 2021; and his parents, John and Claudia Carrier.

Survivors include his son, Kerry Ralph Carrier and his wife, Deda, of Henderson, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law, Ruth Carrier of Evansville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Jason Haire and his wife, Bethany, Jonathan Carrier and his wife, Kristine, and Jordan Carrier; three great-granddaughters, Jaiden Haire, Grace Carrier, and Ivy Carrier; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Tim Wilkerson will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Haire, Jonathan Carrier, Jordan Carrier, Mark Carrier, David Critser, and Gus Justice.
