Wanda Lee Haire Mattingly, 85, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Redbanks Nursing Home.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.  Wanda was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on July 5, 1939, to the late David and Frances Lee Driskill Haire.  Wanda deeply loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis "Bob" Mattingly, who died February 28, 2002; one sister, Becky Beals; and five brothers, David Wayne "Tamy" Haire, Donald Haire, Sr., Merle Haire, Earl Haire, and Mike Haire.

Survivors include two daughters, Paige Powell and her husband, Gary, and Patricia "Tricia" Cummings and her husband, John Paul, both of Henderson, Kentucky; two sons, Thomas Wayne Dickens and his wife, Sherry, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Gregory Elwood Dickens and his wife, Sandy, of Freeburg, Illinois; two sisters, Janice Beals of Henderson, Kentucky, and Cora Mae Foster of Owensboro, Kentucky; four brothers, Steve Haire of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bobby Haire of Reed, Kentucky, Hugh Haire of Henderson, Kentucky, and Tony Haire of Robards; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Wanda's son-in-law, John Paul Cummings, and Wanda's nephew, the Reverend Don Haire, will officiate.  Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice or First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Seth Dickens, Justin Dickens, Bryce Dickens, Adam Dickens, Josh Powell, and Ryan Powell.
