Walter Robert "Wally" "Gator" Grossman, Jr., 77, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent – Indianapolis.

He was born September 6, 1948, at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky.  Wally was a 1966 graduate of Henderson City High School.  He began his career in tool and die at Gibbs in Henderson and then served as plant manager at Presto in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he lived for 1 ½ years.  He then returned to Henderson to work at Firestone/Accuride where he retired.  Wally loved and was a diehard fan of the LA Dodgers, UK basketball, Lakers, and Raiders.  He also enjoyed golfing, trips to Myrtle Beach every September, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Robert Grossman, Sr. and Melba Dean Gibson Grossman, his grandparents, Julius and Bessie Grossman and Pete and Gertrude Gibson, and one brother, Robert Walter Grossman.

Survivors include his son, Kelly Grossman (Connie); his daughter, Keely Grossman; grandchildren, Lauren Grossman Brett (Zach), Jakob Grossman, Addison Grossman, and Brayden Grossman; his sister, Theresa Grossman Smith; great-grandchildren, Briley, Sadie, Emmitt, and Olivia Brett; his four-legged friend, Kershaw; aunts; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

There will be no service, visitation only.
