Thomas Martin Phillips, 74, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

He was born on April 12, 1951, in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Kathleen and John Phillips.  Tommy was a lifelong member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and a proud graduate of Holy Name School.  He was also a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.  Tommy belonged to the Insulators Union Local 37.  Tommy was a Jeopardy enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Ryne Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Vickie Ballou Phillips; his daughter, Stacey Magisson and her husband, Emmanuel, of Zweibrucken, Germany; two sons, Greg Phillips and his wife, Amy, and Dan Phillips, both of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandson, Pax Phillips of Henderson, Kentucky; four sisters, Jenny Hoggard and Dottie and Alan Cunningham, all of Henderson, Kentucky, Kay and Melvin Bazemore of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and June and Kenneth Bazemore of Hubert, North Carolina; seven brothers, James and Sharon Phillips, Jerry and Roberta Phillips, Terry and Maria Phillips, Larry and Cheri Phillips, Bobby and Jennifer Phillips, and Billy and Christy Phillips, all of Henderson, and Johnny Ray and Ethel Phillips of Milton, Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Richard Meredith will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No 40.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, and until 11 a.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
