Tina Thomas Underwood, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Tina was born in Henderson, Kentucky, to Billy Ray and Mary Jane Thomas.  She was passionate about being a nurse and helping people in need.  Tina spent 33 years in the nursing profession and worked at many different offices and hospitals in the Louisville area.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle, 3903 in Jeffersontown and St. Michael Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her son, Garrett Underwood.

Survivors include her parents, Billy Ray and Mary Jane Thomas of Henderson, Kentucky; two sisters, Tammy Hobson (Keith) and Tonya Senler (Seyhan); her long-time companion, Brent Hall; two nephews, Adam Hobson and Taylan Senler; one niece, Amanda Hobson; one stepson, Ryan Underwood; one stepgranddaughter, McKenna; and the father of her late son, Kevin Underwood.

Services will be at noon Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, Kentucky.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. (EST) Friday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, Kentucky 40299, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and until 11 a.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420, where prayers will be said at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Tina's first cousins.
