Thomas Wayne French, 64, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday morning, October 3, 2017, at his home.

He was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on March 3, 1953, to the late Douglas Burton and Nora Belle Berry French.  Tom had worked at Alcan, Tyson Foods, and Shamrock Technologies.  He loved to hunt and fish with his dad and brothers.  He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and a secret University of Louisville fan.  He loved to play golf and was a hobby woodworker.  Tom was looking forward to becoming a grandfather to his first grandson to be born in November.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Douglas Luther French.

Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Robin Allan Kazee French; one son, Scott Thomas French and his wife, Tess, of Sydney, Australia; one brother, Carl Morgan French and his wife, Wanda, Shepherdsville, Kentucky; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Dane Gray will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
