Sue Chandler
Barnett
May 1, 1942 — Aug 5, 2017
Franklin
Sue Chandler Barnett, 75, of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Henderson, Kentucky, peacefully transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home with the Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Sue was born and lived in Henderson until age 69. She was baptized at First Baptist Church at age 13. For 39 years, Sue was an accomplished banker, the last years helping first-time and hardship buyers obtain a home mortgage.
Sue loved her family, friends, customers, and people in general and enjoyed their different personalities. She loved to take classes and always said, "You'll never learn anything that won't help you at some time in your life."
She will be remembered for her generous heart, wonderful sense of humor, infectious personality, and passion for life.
Welcoming Sue to her heavenly home are her mother and father, Irene and Tom Chandler; sisters and brothers, Emma, June, Jean, Pete, Ben, and Roscoe; and smiling brightly, her beloved son, Darren.
Family who remain and cherish her life are beloved daughter, Elizabeth Suzanne Brown and son-in-law, Adam Brown; wonderfully adored grandchildren, Madison, Connor, and William Brown and Bradley Clark; sisters, Dorothy Mullins and Allene Brack; her extended family, Mary Jo, Robin, and Robert Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Rudy Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Alan Chamness will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
