Steven Matthew Thomason, 42, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Born September 27, 1983, in Evansville, Indiana, to Zack and Janet Thomason, Steven attended Holy Name of Jesus School and was a graduate of Memorial High School and Western Kentucky University, where he received a Bachelor of Science.  Steven had a fun-loving spirit and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene Thomason and William Neel "Bill" and Mariam Louise Smith; and one uncle, Jon Stanley.

Survivors include his parents, Zack and Janet Thomason of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Brent Thomason of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandmother, Glennis Thomason of Henderson, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Lesa Basham and her husband, James, and Kay Stanley, all of Henderson, Kentucky, and Tina Snider and her husband, Mark, of Columbus, Indiana; and cousins.

Services will be at noon Friday, September 4, 2026, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Richard Meredith will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026, and until 11 a.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Thursday.
