Steven Keith Davis, 49, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, July 24, 2021, surrounded by the Maddela/Andaya family who loved him dearly.

He was born on May 30, 1972, in Princeton, Indiana, to the late Terry and Leigh Ann Davis of Princeton, Indiana.  He went to St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Princeton High School.  From there, he graduated from St Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and minored in Math.  He went to William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and received his Juris Doctorate degree.  After law school, he worked at KPMG International Tax Firm prior to moving back to Evansville, Indiana.  He was an investment broker for Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch for years in the wealth management group.  He then went into sales.  Steve was such a people person and socialized with everyone. Eventually, he just wanted to take care of his family and worked from home.  He married the love of his life, Yvonne Maddela Davis, who is a Nurse Practitioner in Henderson, Kentucky. They dated for 10 years prior to being married for 20 years.  He is survived by his wife and 2 children, CoCo and Cruz Davis.  CoCo is 16 years old and attends Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana, and Cruz is 10 years old and attends Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School in Henderson, Kentucky.  Steve loved watching his kids play sports and attended every game and practices from soccer to volleyball, basketball, cross country and Lacrosse.  He was their "Biggest" fan and supporter.  He was a very caring and loving husband and father to his family.

Steve is a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, Kentucky.  He has lived in Henderson, Kentucky, since 2003.  He met a lot of friends and family and just loved life.  Steve loved traveling with family, eating different foods of various ethnicities, loved watching sports, gardening, cooking, and most of all reading.  He was an avid regular at the Henderson Public Library.  More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and was a great friend to everyone who knew him.  He had an infectious smile and made people laugh all the time.  He was the life of the party.  He will be missed by ALL of his family members and many of his friends.

In addition to his wife and children, Steve also leaves behind his older brother, Chris (Camy) Davis and their children of Owensville, Indiana, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who mostly reside in Indiana and Florida. They all love and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 511 Second Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Larry McBride and Father J. Edward Bradley will officiate. Dr. Jamie Tiu is coordinating the service. Inurnment of the cremains will be in St. Louis Cemetery Columbarium immediately after the mass.

Following the inurnment, a reception will be held in the multipurpose room at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  All friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of Steve's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
