Sherry Householder Pappas, 67, of Henderson, Kentucky, formerly of Bridgeview, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Born in Henderson, Kentucky, on June 14, 1954, to the late William Earl and Almeta Lorene Johnson Householder, she was a 1972 graduate of Henderson County High School.  Sherry loved her children, was an animal lover, and enjoyed soap operas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Earl Householder, II.

Survivors include her husband, Peter Pappas; two children, James A. Patterson, V, of Colorado and Emily Lorene Patterson and her companion, Shawn Linkous, of Virginia; two sisters, Mary Householder Varble and Agnes Householder Watkins, both of Henderson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Luis Elizalde and Taylor Lorene Patterson; cousins; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Boxville, Kentucky.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.

The family request that all who attend please wear a mask.

There will be no visitation.
