Sherrel Ann Ralph Hosty, 78, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 3:05 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at her home.

She was a devout member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and prayed the rosary multiple times each day.  Sherrel was an avid UK fan and loved to travel to Destin, Florida, with her spouse and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard John Michael Hosty, who died September 2, 2011; her parents, Sherrel Joseph and Frances Margaret Moran Ralph; three brothers, Ronnie Ralph, Tommy Ralph, and Boonie Ralph.

Survivors include three sisters, Linda Evans (Sonny) and Phyllis Schrecker (Bruce), both of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Maurita Wright (Frankie) of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Jerry Ralph (Sheila) of Henderson, Kentucky; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Ralph and Debbie Ralph, both of Henderson, Kentucky, and Charlotte Gloster of Brooklyn, New York; nieces and nephews; and mother of several godchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Anthony J. Shonis will officiate.  Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and until 9 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420, where prayers will be said at 5 p.m. Friday.
