Shelba Ann Henderson Woodring, 83, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Henderson where she served on the Building and Grounds Committee, the Remodeling Committee, and the Bereavement Committee.  Shelba was also a member of the Junior Mary Lynns.  She attended Murray State and Western Kentucky Universities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lora "Cricket" Henderson of Morganfield, Kentucky; and her nephew, Todd Anthony Henderson in Italy.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Bruce Woodring; her daughter, Stephanie Ann Williams of Seminole, Florida; her son, Robert Bruce Woodring and his wife, Angela, of Henderson, Kentucky; her brother, George F. Henderson, Jr., and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Troutman, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Landon Scott Woodring and Emily Brooke Woodring, both of Henderson, Kentucky, and Madison Nicole Williams of Seminole, Florida; and her niece, Tasha Dawn Seyler and her husband, Dr. Thorsten Seyler, of Durham, North Carolina.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Alan Chamness will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Woodring, Doby Waggener, Sabino Humbane, Bruce Begley, Ed Brady, Ron Linxwiler, Garland Certain, Jack Sasse, and Jim Solomon.
