SHEILA ANN WILSON YATES

     Sheila Ann Wilson Yates, 75, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2026, at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

     Born in Henderson, Kentucky, on October 11, 1951, to the late William Robert and Phyllis Ann Crabtree, Sheila was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Sheila was an avid reader, loved crocheting, keeping up with family and friends, telling jokes, and playing games. She was a thoughtful and caring individual who loved to brighten the days of others. Most importantly, Sheila was a loving Mimi and devoted Christian.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert W. “Bobby” Crabtree.

     Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Jerry; her children, Skyler Wilson and his wife, Jenny, of Greenwood, Indiana, Renae D. Brown of Henderson, Kentucky, and Jason Crist and his wife, Latasha, of Denver, Colorado; her stepchildren, Meredith Yates of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Barton Yates and his wife, Ericka, of Henderson, Kentucky; her sister, Anna Murphy of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Zari’Ann, Velma, Vivi, Ocean, Talon, and Makai; two stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews; and close cousins, Cherrie and Sandy.

     Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

     Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
