Sharron Overfield Young, 63, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Henderson, Kentucky, to Mary Sigler Thompson and the late Bobby Lambert Overfield.  After graduation, Sharron married Charles Young and together they had three children, Daniel Young, Jesse Young, and Kristin Young.  She was a wonderful stay-at-home mom and homemaker.  After her children were grown, she proudly took on the role of grandmother to her five grandchildren, Paisley Young, Ezra Young, Kaylex Fendrick, Koda Fendrick, and Karter Fendrick.  Sharron loved spending time with her grandchildren, helping friends and family, and traveling.

Survivors include her children, Daniel Young, Jesse Young, and Kristin Young; her mother, Mary Sigler Thompson; two brothers, Danny Overfield and Shawn Overfield; one sister, Desiree Brandle Carter; five grandchildren, Paisley Young, Ezra Young, Kaylex Fendrick, Koda Fendrick, and Karter Fendrick; two nephews, Mason Overfield and Nick Carter; and one niece, Katelyn Carter.

Services will be at noon Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend David Petrie will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
