Sharon Thompson, 83 of Henderson, Kentucky, died at 1:15a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, where she was an active member.  Sharon was a bookkeeper and homemaker to four boys.  She worked for Gabe Davis and Campbell, Royster, Carver, McBride & Co., (Kemper CPA Group).  She was a proud and involved member at her church and was also a student there from first grade through high school.  She loved being involved in her children and grandchildren's activities.  Sharon was foremost though a family woman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Lee Alvey, and her husband of 53 years, Ray.

Survivors include her four sons, Dennis Thompson and his wife, Susie, of Louisville, Kentucky, Derek Thompson and his wife, Laura, of Newburgh, Indiana, Darin Thompson and his wife, Tammy, of Sunnyvale, California, and Dan Thompson and wife, Alyson, of Henderson, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Taylor Negley and her husband, Spenser, Logan Thompson, Riley Thompson and his wife, Jessie, Lily Duffy and her husband, Connor, Emilee Thompson, Will Thompson, Chase Thompson, Max Thompson and Colton Thompson; nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Entombment will be in the St. Louis Cemetery Mausoleum.

There will be no visitation.
