Scott Owen Hendrickson, 56, of Evansville, formerly of Henderson, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital following a brief illness.

Scott was born October 13, 1969, to Jerry and Dorothy (nee Holder) Hendrickson, both of whom preceded him in death.

Scott was a man of many interests and hobbies. Earlier in life, he enjoyed editing and producing commercials and videos. He had an extensive collection of electronic gadgets, including instruments, editing software, and cameras. He was deeply creative and embraced artificial intelligence and the many possibilities he saw in it.

Scott loved learning and enjoyed discussing theological and spiritual concepts. He was a unique individual who lived life on his own terms. He never complained and had a remarkable ability to see the beauty in almost every situation.

Scott is survived by his brother, Kevin (Paula) of Evansville; niece, Marissa; and great-nephew, Syrus. He is also survived by his bonus nieces, Kendra Reynolds and Jada Seaver and their families; aunt, Becky (Norman) Miller and her family of Evansville; cousins, Debbie (Joe) Thompson and her family of Oceanside, CA; and Cindy (Brad) Howton of Morganfield, KY.

A private memorial service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
