Sara Givens Crafton, 90, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church.  Sara retired from Home Oil and Gas Company, Inc., where she was Chairman of the Board at the time of her death.  She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James M. "Bud" Crafton; her parents, Robert E. and Gertrude W. Givens; and her sister, Gail Givens Hunt.

Survivors include two sons, James M. Crafton, Jr., and his wife, Ann, and Robert G. Crafton and his wife, Beth, all of Henderson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, James A. Crafton and his wife, Danielle, Caroline Crafton, Christine (Crafton) Hauge and her husband, David, and Patrick A. Beaven and his wife, Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Marshall J. Crafton, Parker G. Crafton, Hudson A. Beaven, and Cate Elizabeth Beaven; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Fernwood Cemetery.  The Reverend James Wofford will officiate.

Pallbearers will be James M. Crafton, Jr., Robert G. Crafton, James A. Crafton, Patrick A. Beaven, Richard D. Royer, and David M. Hauge.

Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
