Sandra "Cookie" Walker, 77, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021.

She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.  Cookie was a homemaker most of her life, and her door was always open to all.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She volunteered at Seventh Street School for several years and enjoyed helping and taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Vernon Lee "Tubby" Walker, who died November 17, 2006; one daughter, Cynthia Jane Simpson, who died, July 26, 2020; and her parents, Robert Finley and Melba Finley.

Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany Beck and her husband, Derek, of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Michael "Shane" Walker of Henderson, Kentucky; one stepson, Brian Walker and his wife, Jan, of Florida; two brothers, Richard A. Finley and his wife, Jo Ann, of Centralia, Illinois, and Robert W. "Bill" Finley and his wife, Laura,  of Allyn, Washington; three grandchildren, Morgan Stanley, Brett Simpson, and Justin Walker, all of Henderson, Kentucky; two stepgrandchildren, Jenna Signell and Justin Walker of Florida; five great-grandchildren, Paxden and Finley Beck, Avery Jon, and Zaylah and Aydin Simpson; nieces and nephews; and her wonderful family at Golden Living Center-Woodlands.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

Private services will be held.  Her nephew, Jason Walker, and family friend Ken Bingemer will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
