Sandra Risinger, 82, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 9, 1942, to the late Marvin Lewis Kerr and Nellie Porter Snow.  For more than 30 years, Sandy worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.  Sandy was a lover of flowers, plants, and animals and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaimie Lynn Coolbaugh; her husband of 38 years, William Ralph Risinger.

Survivors include her son, Brian Scott Coolbaugh and his wife, Carol, of Lexington, Kentucky; her stepson, William R. Risinger and his wife, Hilary, of Morganfield, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Collin Coolbaugh and his wife, Katie, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Lauren Coolbaugh Guinn and her husband, Matt, of Trenton, Kentucky, Miles Risinger of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, and Jake Risinger and his wife, Haley, of Louisville, Kentucky; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Guinn.

Services will be at noon Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Dr. Tim Hobbs will officiate.  Entombment will be in Fairmont Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Collin Coolbaugh, Matt Guinn, Jeff Crafton, Kai Crafton, Charlie Crafton, and Glen Kerr.
