Sandra Gager, 79, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Spottsville, Kentucky, on September 29, 1944, to the late Aaron and Flossie Williams.  Sandra was bank manager at Farmers Bank/Old National Bank in Henderson.  She also attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church along with her late husband, Leo Wathen Gager.  Most important to Sandra was being with her husband, sons, granddaughters, and great-granddaughter.  She enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake, camping, and the beach.  Sandra was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed watching NCIS.  Sandra loved walking daily with her sister and friends as well as visiting the Cracker Barrel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Leo Wathen Gager; and one infant brother, Alvie Ray Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Gager and his wife, Stacy, of Oceanside, California, and Gregory Gager of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Sharon "Sissy" Dickerson of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Barry Williams and his wife, Rose, of Henderson, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Ashley O'Donnell and her husband, Patrick, of Jackson, Tennessee, Lyndsey Seaver and her husband, Nick, of Evansville, Indiana, and Abby Gager of Rocklin, California; one great-granddaughter, Adalynn Seaver of Evansville, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery beside her husband, Leo.

There will be no visitation.
