Rose Marie Ray Henderson, 87, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

She was born in Union County, Kentucky, on January 30, 1935, to the late Maggie and Goble Van Cleave.  Marie was of the Baptist faith and attended Airline Baptist Church.  She loved her God, sons, grandsons, great-grandchildren, and siblings and was loved by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Ray; one son, Gregory Ray; and her siblings, Anna Lee Box, Allean Morris, David Van Cleave, Mary Wettstain, and Kenny Van Cleave.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Ray and his wife, Nancy, of Falls of Rough, Kentucky; two grandsons, Andrew Ray and his wife, Heather, and Isaac Ray and his wife, Jenna, both of Henderson, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Colten, Axel, and Millie Ray; two sisters, Wanda Majors and Faye Bridges and her husband, Ralph, both of Henderson, Kentucky; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Nathan Whisnant will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022, and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Ray, Isaac Ray, Ray Ervin, Jason Davis, Jeff Davis, and Jack Reeb.
