Roger Dale Dixon, 67, of Corydon, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Born on July 7, 1955, in Henderson, Kentucky, Dale had a love for family, farming, and agriculture.  He was a member of Dixie Methodist Church.  Dale's favorite pastimes were boating with family and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Dixon, Jr., and Noretta Hooper Dixon.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Dixon and his wife, Shanda, of Corydon, Kentucky; his daughter, Leah Risley and her husband, Neal, of Corydon, Kentucky; his sister, Diane Dixon Hughes and her husband, Wayne, of Corydon, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Brooklyn Dixon, Audrey Dixon, Jaci Risley, Kynli Dixon, and Lani Risley; two nieces, Melissa Clements and Andrea Engelbrecht.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Mark Hobgood will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Dixon, Neal Risley, Drew Clements, Dowen Dixon, Joe Engelbrecht, and Timothy Southard.
