Robert (Bob)
Conrad
Nov 6, 1951 — Nov 22, 2021
Corydon
On Monday, November 22, 2021, Robert (Bob) Conrad, passed away at the age of 70.
Bob was a loving husband for 44 years to Karol, brother to Rich (& Donna) Conrad and Bette (& Bob) Bucheit, father of three incredible children, Luke (& Sarah) Conrad, Scott Conrad, and Katie (& Brad) Scott. He was blessed with and adored by his granddaughters, Harper, Lexi, Ava, Finlee and Charli.
Bob was the son of Willard and Wanda Conrad. Born in Kansas City, MO in 1951, he grew up in St. Louis. In 1976, he received his bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University. Starting his career in Chicago, he ultimately settled in Henderson, KY, and retired from Big Rivers Electric after 30 + years of service to spend more time with his family.
Bob had a passion for sports and all things St Louis. He loved coaching his children and later cheering on his granddaughters. He was also an avid music lover and a collector of old classic rock albums, especially the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Bob loved to travel. There wasn't a cruise line that wasn't his friend.
He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and could start a conversation with anyone.
His funeral services will be held at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Saturday November 27, 2021. Public visitation begins at 12 p.m. Burial services will be at the Corydon Cemetery.
While we truly appreciate your condolences, we encourage you to consider donations to Henderson County Diabetes Coalition and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Bob's name.
