Richard Lane Powell, 75, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023, with his loving family at his side.

Richard retired from the Kentucky Highway Department where he was a superintendent.  He loved spending time with his family, barbequing, and making burgoo.  Richard loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Kathy Jo "Ms. Kathy" Powell, who died June 20, 2022; his parents, Robert and Georgia Powell; and one brother, Gary Powell.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Beth Bealmear and her husband, Robbie, Lori Ann Carver and her husband, Randy, and Billie Jo Davies, all of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Jeanie Hardy of Cairo, Kentucky; one brother, Robert Anthony Powell of Venice, Florida; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Haven Pentecostal Church.  Pastor Phillip Wagoner will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
