Obituary

Richard Fields Haskett, 66, of Henderson, Kentucky, died Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Owensboro Kentucky.

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 30, 1956, Richard Fields Haskett ("Ritchie)" was an outstanding follower of nature and water fowl life!  He was a graduate of Henderson County High School and Henderson Community College where he received an Associate in Arts and Sciences.  Richard had multiple black Labrador retrievers and followed the hunting and migration of many water fowl birds inclusive of the Canadian Geese, Snow Geese, and wood duck populations throughout the slough and wooded areas of Henderson County.  Richard just loved nature to its most intimate life forms.

Richard will be missed by all who knew him, and his three surviving brothers Tim, Jay, and Brenan will especially miss him tremendously!  He was friend to all and never would fail in a lending hand to a needful person nor animal.

Rest in peace Richard (Ritchie).

He was preceded in the death by his parents, John R. Haskett and Mary E. Haskett; and one brother, John Q. Haskett.

Survivors include three brothers, Jay D. Haskett of Vero Beach, Florida, Timothy P. Haskett of Timnath, Colorado, and Jeffrey B. Haskett of Henderson Kentucky; and aunts, uncles, and cousins who live in Little Rock Arkansas.

A private ceremony at Richard's gravesite will take place and be announced in the future.
