Raymond T. Tapp, 84, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Raymond was a longtime member of First Assembly of God.  He was born May 4, 1940, to the late Lucy Mae and George Ira Tapp.  Raymond spent most of his life as a carpenter.  He started making cabinets in his 20's and then began remodeling and building new homes in Henderson and Newburgh, Indiana.  Raymond loved basketball and was one of the biggest UK fans.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Otis Tapp, and one niece.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Slaughter Tapp; one daughter, Dawn Isonhood and her husband, Jim, of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Mike Tapp and his wife, Kim, of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Mary Cannon and Alice Thompson and her husband, Charlie, both of Henderson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ashley Kietzman and her husband, Chad, Jake Isonhood and his wife, Jessica, Danielle Zygmunt and her husband, Alex, and Katie Tapp; four great-grandchildren, Harper, Casen, Harrison, and Callee; and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raymond's Life Celebration at noon Saturday, March 22, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Henderson, Kentucky.  The Reverend Kevin Stone will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Raymond's family requests you bring a small toy to be donated to a hospital for sick kids.
