Paul R. Wilson, 82, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center with his family at his side.

He was a member of First Christian Church, where he served as an Elder and sang in the choir.  For 38 years, Paul was a State Farm Insurance Agent.  He enjoyed being a member of the Mustang Club in Evansville and had a great love for automobiles.  Paul also was an avid runner and enjoyed visiting and hiking in the Smokey Mountains.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Nancy Wilson; one brother, Phillip Wilson; and his grandson, Zachary Crain.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Donna Ewing Wilson; two daughters, Fran Elizabeth Wilson of Henderson, Kentucky, and Marci Lynn Wilson-Bates and her husband, Christopher, of Louisville, Kentucky; two stepchildren, Charles "Chuck" Carter and his wife, Sherry, of Henderson, Kentucky, and Robyn Carter Crain and her husband, Brian, of Dover, Tennessee; two sisters, Carole Stringer and her husband, Buck, of Arkansas and Sharon Hamilton of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brittney Carter, Robert Carter, Sydney Crain, and Will Crain; one great-grandson, Owen Broadbent; nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family graveside service at Fairmont Cemetery.

There will be a celebration of life in the future.
