Paul E. Greenwell, 72, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was a graduate of Murray State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology.  He was a lifelong member of Sigma Chi fraternity.  Paul worked most of his life in equipment sales and later worked in real estate.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.  He enjoyed cooking, golf, football, and UK basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie Greenwell of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Virginia "Ginny"; one daughter, Shawn Guthrie and her husband, Robert, of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Gwenda Jean and Warren Lee Guthrie; two sisters, Juanita Roby and Selena Greenwell, both of Bardstown, Kentucky; one aunt and one uncle; nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Ryker Wilson will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and until service time Monday at the funeral home.
