Vincent Patrick Riggins, age 82, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late Margaret and Marion Riggins, Pat lived a full and meaningful life defined by love, family, and friendship.

Pat built his career as a successful car salesman and was recognized for his dedication and success.  He retired from Dempewolf Ford in 2002, but his love for the business and his friends led him to return as a shuttle driver for many years.  His warm smile and gift for connecting with people made him not only respected by colleagues but beloved by the many customers he served throughout the years.

Beyond his work, Pat's passions included music and fast cars, both of which brought him great joy.  He will be remembered for his quick wit, his knack for telling unforgettable stories, and his thoughtful advice that so many turned to over the years.

Of all of the roles he held in life, being "Papaw" was his greatest source of pride.  He cherished the bond he shared with his grandson, Hudson, who brought him endless joy and laughter.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and resilience that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Sara (Brent) Couch and Mallory Smith; his sons, Scott Simms and Tom (Karen) Fears; his brother, Don (Cindy); grandchildren, Hudson Couch and Parys Simms; his close friend, Barbara Dotson, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pat's celebration of life from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the funeral home with the Reverend Tim Shockley officiating.  Entombment will follow in Fairmont Cemetery Mausoleum in Henderson, Kentucky.

Pat battled with Parkinson's and participated in care and support through Parkinson's Disease Evansville/Henderson.
