Patricia Raleigh McConnell, 66, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

Patty was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on August 27, 1957, to the late Cletis Emerson and Carolyn Sinkhorn Raleigh.  After 20 years, she retired from the Henderson County Public School System.  She was known as "Ms. Patty" by the staff and students of East Heights Elementary School.  Patty was funny and kind and always ready to cheer someone on with an encouraging word.  She enjoyed crafting with her daughter and spending time with her Bunco girls.  Patty never missed an activity of her children and grandchildren.  She was a lifelong member of Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert McConnell; and two sisters-in-law, Sheila McConnell and Lisa McConnell.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Kent; two children, Matthew McConnell and Amanda Bingemer and her husband, Corey, both of Henderson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Connor Bingemer and Arleigh Bingemer; her mother-in-law, Joyce McConnell of Henderson, Kentucky; two brothers-in-law, Trent McConnell and Mark McConnell, both of Henderson, Kentucky; cousins; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Rick O'Daniel will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
