Norma Herrington Gibbs, 90, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Methodist Hospital.

She was an active member of First Christian Church.  She was born February 7, 1927, in Providence, Kentucky.  Norma later attended college attaining an Associate Degree and taught school throughout Western Kentucky for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Gibbs.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Herrington and Tom Herrington and his wife, Cathy, both of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Nadine Bacon of New Albany, Indiana; two grandchildren, Nicholas Herrington of Palm Coast, Florida, and Courtney Herrington of Louisville, Kentucky.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Dr. Lon Oliver will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
