Midge Kavanaugh Luebbert Utley, 99, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Midge was born in Corydon, Kentucky, on December 6, 1923, to the late Edward Lee and Edna Lucille Jones Kavanaugh.  She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Luebbert; her second husband, Herb Utley; and four siblings, Mary Rebecca Strain, Raymond Kavanaugh, John M. Kavanaugh, and Hattie M. O'Nan.

Survivors include her daughter, Sondy Duckworth and her husband, Kenny, of Evansville, Indiana; two siblings, Bertha "Sug" Bennett and her husband, Harry, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Edward L. Kavanaugh, Jr., and his wife, Jill, of Eddyville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Mark, Chris, Shane, and Jennifer Smithhart, all of Henderson, Kentucky; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Mike Snyder will officiate.  Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
