Mike Griffin, 57, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

Mike was born September 12, 1966, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Steven Wayne Griffin and the late Janet Ann Holland Griffin.  He owned and operated Arbor Specialist Tree Service.  Mike was an avid Harley Davidson's rider and outdoorsman.  He was also an organ donor who saved the lives of two people.

In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Rene Alves Griffin.

Survivors include five children, Michael Wayne Griffin, II, Brittany Griffin, Ramsie Griffin, Silas Griffin, and Taylor Griffin, all of Henderson, Kentucky; his father, Steven W. Griffin of Henderson, Kentucky; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews; childhood best friends, Tinker and Derwood.

Services will be at noon Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Tim Shockley will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
