She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Jenkins and her husband, Kerry Jenkins, of Bessemer, Alabama; her sister, Martha Polk of Henderson, Kentucky; her nephews, William F. Polk, III, of Louisville, Kentucky, John C. Polk and his wife, Rumana Ahmad, and their children, Naaz and William, of Washington, D.C.; and the many friends she had throughout her life.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2002, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was a life-long member and former Vestry member. The Reverend Holly Rankin-Zaher will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
