Mary "P.C." Markwell Head, 70, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her home.

She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  She devoted her life to Markwell Dance Studio having worked alongside her mother, Martha B. Markwell, for many years and continued having a profound influence on the lives of countless young people after her mother's passing.  P.C.'s legacy will live on for generations through the many people she worked with at Markwell Dance Studio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha B. Markwell; and aunts and uncles, including her aunt Mildred "Noo" Marstall, with whom she was very close.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frank G. Head; three children, Amy D. Greenwell and her husband, Brian, of Henderson, Kentucky, Chris Head and his wife, Rachael, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Margaux Head of Henderson, Kentucky; two siblings, Martha "Rinky" Rohlfing of Atlanta, Georgia, and William I. "Bill" Markwell of Henderson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Will Stone, Ivy Greenwell, Veronica Head, and Johnny Head; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Regy Beiswenger, Jesse Collins, Brian Greenwell, Jimmy Owens, Morgan Johnson, Mason Johnson, Isaac Duncan, and Aaron Duncan.
