Martha Sue Ploeg, 83, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was a lifelong Henderson resident.  Martha Sue was a world traveler and loved shopping.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Ploeg; one son, Tim Ploeg; and siblings, Dorothy Stone, Gene Wilson, and Jerry Wilson.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Ploeg and his partner, Mark Witt, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mark Ploeg and his wife, Cecilia, of Oakley, California; two grandsons, Air Force Captain Matthew Ploeg and his wife, Kristen, and their son, Lucas, of Northern, Virginia, and Christian Ploeg of San Francisco, California; one granddaughter, Heather Gomer of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Peggy Nantz of Henderson, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Charley Westbrook will officiate.  Burial will be in Farley Cemetery in Henderson County, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
