Margaret Theriot, 88, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at her home with her daughter and friends at her side.

She loved working in her flower garden and having coffee with her friends on the porch.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph "Joe" Theriot, who died September 16, 2018; her parents, Alvey and Carrie Todd; one brother, Price Todd; one sister, Alma Mullins; and her son-in-law, Jim Bantly, who died September 12, 2020.

Margaret's family was a source of great pride.  Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Theriot Bantly; one brother, Tommy Todd of Florence, Alabama; two stepgranddaughters, Beth West and her husband, Dr. Kevin West, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jennie Peak and her husband, Jason Peak, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; four great-grandchildren, Kate and Bantly West and Claire and Lainie Peak; and a great-niece, Claudia Hall of Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

There will be a celebration of Margaret's life at a future date.

There will be no visitation.

Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice, the Humane Society of Henderson County, or a favorite charity.
