Madge O. Burton, 85, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord, on Monday, August 5, 2024.

She was born September 21, 1938, in Tioga, West Virginia, to the late Ivan L. and Opal T. (Gish) Patrick.  On November 11, 1956, she married Robert E. Burton.  In her younger days, she loved to garden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Tamara DeNece (Patrick) Hahn; and one nephew.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Burton; three children, Tim Burton of Spottsville, Kentucky, Benita Jennings and her husband, David, of Henderson, Kentucky, and Linda Guill of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, LaVaine Patrick of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Monoka Grisham of Henderson, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; one step-greatgrandchild; one great-greatgrandchild; five nephews; and three nieces.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Brother Paul Davis will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tim Burton, David Jennings, E.J. Jennings, Sam Guill, Jed Guill, and Corey Hahn.
