Lucinda
Trimborn
Oct 8, 1940 — Sep 4, 2025
Henderson
Mary Lucinda Trimborn, 84, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025.
She was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on October 8, 1940, to the late James Lockett Pennington and Anna Mae Herzog Rowland. You could usually find her working "her corner" at Jackson and Elm streets as a school crossing guard for Henderson Police Department at Jefferson Elementary for 25 years. Lucinda was a hairdresser for over 50 years, all while chasing her family and road tripping with her cousins, especially Betty Karen, and causing some trouble with Joyce Springston. She was known to light a fire under most and bust a move when Boot Scooting Boogy came on the radio. She loved to laugh and smile even being a clown at times for various activities throughout the community. Between scratch off tickets and good food with a Diet Coke of course, she lived a long fulfilling life. Lucinda was a member of Bennett Memorial Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Rowland.
Survivors include two children, Bryan Trimborn and Angela Adams and her husband, Brian, of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Charles Earl Pennington and his wife, Rita, of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Zack Trimborn (Laura), Breeanna Adams, and Mitchell Trimborn; four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Feazell, Jaxon Trimborn, Jacob Trimborn, and Brooke Trimborn; many cousins; and her special friend, Kenny Williams.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Tim Shockley will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Trimborn, Zack Trimborn, Mitch Trimborn, Brian Adams, Ronnie Burleson, and James "JJ" Johnson.
Lucinda's family wishes to thank Redbanks Nursing Home staff especially Candace Oglesby.
