Lisa Marie Gooch McConnell, 60, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Lisa was born on February 1, 1962, in Franklin, Kentucky, to the late Billy Wayne and Emma Marie Beasley Gooch.  She graduated from Henderson County Senior High School in 1980 and married her high school sweetheart, Mark, the following year.  Lisa enjoyed growing and selling chrysanthemums and sweet corn on her family farm.  She loved taking pictures and home videos capturing life's moments.  Lisa's true passion was raising her three children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Wayne Gooch.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Mark; three children, Maggie Garner and her husband, Alan, of Henderson, Kentucky, Lacey McConnell Bishop and her husband, Tony, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, and Jake McConnell of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, and his girlfriend, Lauren Brown; one brother, Danny Gooch of Madisonville, Kentucky; one grandchild, Theo Garner, and another grandchild on the way; cousins; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Bret Eblen will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Book, Trey Book, Adam Gooch, Matt McConnell, Corey Bingemer, Al Joe Littlepage, Reggie Crowley, and John Moseley.

Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
