Knox, Kentucky, taught business courses through a government grant program, and worked as a secretary for Housing and Urban Development.  Most of her life was spent working with her family on Parrish Farms and Parrish Shop and Sales.  Linda was a longtime and active member of Zion Baptist Church, where she served as wedding coordinator and Sunday School Teacher and on many church committees.  Linda was a devoted and loving wife, mother, Meme, and newly great-grandmother.  She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and family and enjoyed sitting outdoors soaking up God's beautiful sunshine, flowers, and landscapes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Aaron Parrish; her parents-in-law, Jesse and Izetta Parrish; and one sister-in-law, Sherry Tillman and her husband, Jack.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Larry; two children, Monty Parrish and his wife, Janet, and Christi Watkins and her husband, Chad, both of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Nathan Parrish of Henderson, Kentucky, Mitchell Watkins and his wife, Madison, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Mikayla Watkins of Henderson, Kentucky; one great-grandson, Liam Watkins;  one sister-in-law, Annelle Mills and her husband, Cory, of Evansville, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Zion Baptist Church.  Dr. Dan Garland and Pastor Mike Spivey will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024, and 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Monty Parrish, Nathan Parrish, Mitchell Watkins, Mikayla Watkins, Chad Watkins, and Seth Adams.
