Linda Green Duncan, 75, of Henderson, Kentucky, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2023, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, while in hospice care.

Linda was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Henderson, where she raised her children, Maria and Brad, and was a longtime member of the church choir.  A 1965 graduate of Henderson City High School (Go Flash!), she was a cheerleader and also participated in numerous pageants.  She was a devoted wife and mother, who, despite working outside the home, always took time to take part in her children's school activities.  Linda was retired from Henderson Municipal Power and Light, where she spent many years.  She also was named a Kentucky Colonel.

Linda was a beautiful woman, inside and out.  She loved her church, her family, and her friends.  She rarely had a negative word to say, and she just had the most wonderful laugh.  And, of course, she was also loved by many.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Busby Green; her father, William Naaman Green; her husband, Danny Lee Duncan; and her daughter, Maria Duncan Runner.

Survivors include her son, Bradley Daniel Duncan of Henderson, Kentucky; her grandson, Paul Michael Runner of Berea, Kentucky; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Services will be at noon Thursday, April 20, 2023, at First Baptist Church.  The Reverend Alan Chamness will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church, 307 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky, 42420.
