Linda H. Danheiser, 77, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023.  She was born in Uvalde, Texas, on December 2, 1945.

She was a lifelong and active member of First Christian Church where she also served as a deacon. Linda was a graduate of Henderson County High School and Evansville College having received a Master's Degree in Education. For more than 38 years, she worked in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School System where she was an elementary school teacher and principal.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bobby Neil Danheiser; and her parents, Merle and Eula Hetrick.

Survivors include two brothers, Roger Hetrick and David Hetrick and his wife, Connie, both of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Joyce Chandler of Henderson, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at noon Thursday, May 4, 2023, at First Christian Church. The Reverend David L. Clifford and Dr. Chuck Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
