KENNETH GREGORY POWELL

Kenneth Gregory Powell, 68, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017, at his home.

He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where he was a former member of the Vestry and Senior Warden.  Greg was a former educator at Youth Day Treatment in Evansville, Indiana, and was active in the local arts community.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Katherine D. Powell, who died July 15, 2015; his parents, Kenneth and Fidelia Powell; and his brother, Keith Powell.

Survivors include one daughter, Kate Ligon and her husband, Brooks, of Corydon, Kentucky; one son, Tyler Powell and his wife, Kelly, of Lexington, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Chelsea Powell, Anne Powell, and Freya Ligon.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  Father Rich Martindale will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church where following the service there will be a reception in the church's parish hall.
