Kathy Jo "Ms. Kathy" Powell, 72, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 20, 2022, with her loving family at her side.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and eating at Hacienda.  "Ms. Kathy" worked for many years at Holy Name Grade School as a teacher assistant and in the school cafeteria.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Helbling.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Richard; three daughters, Mary Beth Bealmear and her husband, Robbie, Lori Ann Carver and her husband, Randy, and Billie Jo Davies, all of Henderson, Kentucky; two sisters, Susan Carol Nance of Henderson, Kentucky, and Janie Brill Cunningham, of Venice, Florida; one brother, Jerry Ramsey Helbling of Venice, Florida; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Haven Pentecostal Church.  Pastor Phillip Wagoner will officiate.
