Karen Ross Rosenhamer, 68, of Spottsville, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home with her loving family at her side after a 7-year courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Karen dedicated 31 years of her life teaching the youth of Henderson at Henderson County High School.  She was an active member of First Assembly of God where she taught Sunday school, helped with Vacation Bible school, and participated in mission trips.  Karen also enjoyed traveling with her family.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Caleb Micah Rosenhamer; and her parents, William E. "Bill" Ross and Lillian Maxine Moore Ross.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ron Rosenhamer; two children, Hannah Bagwell and her husband, Justin, of Jackson, Mississippi, and Aaron Rosenhamer and his wife, Rachel, of Henderson, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Micah Bagwell; three siblings, Brenda Ferguson, William Arthur Ross and his wife, Tamarra Lynn, and Marsha Davis and her husband, Owen, all of Spottsville, Kentucky; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeff Ferguson and the Reverend Michele Nally will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023, and until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Rosenhamer, Jake Davis, Kevin Ferguson, Ross Ferguson, Scott Busby, and Breighton Gogel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Stanley, II, Christopher Stanley, III, and Preston Gogel.
