Judith Knight Pullum, 85, of Cairo, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Evansville, Indiana, with her caretaker and sister-in-law, Barbara Morgan, at her side.

Born in Henderson, Kentucky, on October 14, 1940, to the late James Thomas Knight and Viola Gibson Ellis, Judy was a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College and received a Master of Education and Rank I.  She worked for the Henderson County School System having taught first grade at Audubon Elementary School, Seventh Street Elementary School, and Jefferson Elementary School where she retired.  Judy loved animals and the library and was an avid reader.  When able, she was active at Henderson First Baptist Church and her Sunday school class, "For Women Only."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Pullum, who died in 2002; her first cousin, Janice Knight Barron, with whom she was close; and her brother-in-law, Buddy Morgan.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Barbara Morgan and Faye Kadenhead, both of Henderson, Kentucky; cousins, including Kathi Henry and her husband, Craig, of LaGrange, Kentucky, and Donna Holland and her husband, David, of Henderson, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Jerry Barron will officiate.  Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Mullins, Dale Clark, Ivan Lopaz, and Jeff Stone.
