Vera Judith "Judie" Cornbleet, 83, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023.

She was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on September 28, 1940, to the late Charles Louis Mitchell and Vera Mae Seybold Mitchell.  Judie attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Evansville.  She was a strong spirited individual who never met a stranger.

Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Cornbleet, Sr.; two children, Robert "Bobby" Cornbleet, II, and Vera Elizabeth "Vera Beth" Cornbleet (Mark Shortridge), both of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Charles "Chuck" Mitchell of Panama City, Florida; her loving companion, her dog, Louis; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Gary A. Chapman will officiate.  Private family burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
