Juanita Nobles Pugh, 100, of Robards, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She attended Bellfield Baptist Church, where she helped in the preschool department.  Juanita enjoyed reading the Bible and loved caring for her family.  She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend; everyone knew her as Ninny.  Juanita loved and depended on the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joseph L. Pugh, who died July 14, 2004; her daughter, Linda Sue Pugh Dean, who died November 16, 2015; her parents, Mack and Maggie Sutton Nobles; her sister, Lula Mae Keach; and her brother, Eugene Nobles.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Joe and Cynthia Pugh of Robards, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Damon Neal Winstead, Michelle Daneen Townsend and her husband, Tim, Jeremy Daniel Pugh, and Kiley Elisabeth Pugh; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Lyndon Townsend and Grayson Joseph Townsend; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Friday, February 10, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Brother Charley Westbrook will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023, and until service time Friday, February 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
