Joseph Darrell Russelburg, 81, of Waverly, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was born August 5, 1940, in Waverly, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Elizabeth Bickett Russelburg.  Darrell was retired from Russelburg Construction.  He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the NRA, and a Kentucky Colonel.  Darrell enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.  He loved his family most of all.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bernice Williams Russelburg; three daughters, Anna Hunter and her husband, Clayborn Hunter, Jr., of Sadieville, Kentucky, Retha Fulcher and her husband, Rob, of Waverly, Kentucky, and Martha Maddix and her husband, Allen, of Sadieville, Kentucky; one brother, Alvin Russelburg and his wife, Becky, of Morganfield, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waverly.  Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Waverly.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.  Prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
